Join our talented, dedicated staff! These positions range from management roles with working hours before the event to on-site-only responsibilities. All roles include on-site staff housing and all meals.
Set-Up / Stage / Strike (3S) Manager
Early arrival to support the set-up of all spaces. During the Festival, ensure all stages, speakers, and performers have the appropriate equipment set-up. After the Festival, support the break-down and pack-out of all spaces and equipment.Assistant Director (4 Positions Available!)
May include driving event trucks to/from the venue from the Bay Area. Leads Gate & Parking volunteer teams during arrival hours. Otherwise, serves as the right hand to the Festival Director, providing support with all ad hoc staff needs that arise.Cleaning Manager
Ensures a tidy venue and excellent guest experience including laundry service and supplies refilling.Food Service Staff
Supports the front of house for meals and midnight snack service.Greeting & Orientation Manager
Coordinates our volunteer team of Greeters to support a smooth and informative entry for all attendees.Shuttle Driver (4 Positions Available!)
Safely drive attendees around the venue via our continuous passenger van shuttle service.Audio Production Manager
Coordinate our audio needs with the venue and performers so that each space has the appropriate equipment and set-up to support a variety of speakers and acts.Talent Relations Manager
Liaise with all speakers and performers, ensuring that their needs are met in advance and that they are well coordinated with our production team.

Volunteer Roles
New this year: Potential volunteers must apply, be accepted, and fulfill their shift/s to receive a corresponding reimbursement on their ticket. This allows us to ensure a great experience for everyone by best matching applicants to their most appropriate responsibilities.
Greeting & Orientation ($100 reimbursement, approximately 4 hours)
Welcome and orient participants, answering questions and helping them navigate the venue. This role requires talking with many people and being on your feet. Shifts are Friday and Saturday.Gate & Parking ($125 reimbursement, approximately 5 hours)
Greet participants as they arrive, assist with check-in, and help direct vehicles to appropriate parking spots. This role requires being on your feet, wearing close-toed shoes, and directing multiple people at once. Shifts are Friday or Saturday.Set-Up ($250 reimbursement, approximately 10 hours)
Help prepare the venue by moving furniture, equipment, and other supplies throughout the site, including upstairs and downstairs areas. This physically demanding role requires close-toed shoes and readiness to carry, bend, and stretch over multiple hours. Shifts are Thursday afternoon and Friday.Strike ($300 reimbursement, approximately 10 hours)
Help clean and restore the property by moving and organizing equipment and supplies, both heavy and light. This physically demanding role requires close-toed shoes and stamina for extended periods of lifting, bending, and stretching. Shifts are Sunday and Monday.Lost & Found ($250 reimbursement)
Organize and manage lost items, both during the Bonobo Festival and primarily after the event at home, cataloging and posting them for participants to claim. This role requires handling and occasional lifting of items, attention to detail, and comfort using email, Google Forms, and Mighty Networks. Work occurs mostly post-event.Angel ($100-$150 reimbursement, approximately 4 hours)
Provide emotional and social support to attendees, monitoring for potential issues and emergencies. This role requires prior angel experience, completion of online angel training, sobriety during shifts, and wearing identifying angel gear. Shifts available Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.Dungeon Monitor ($100-$150 reimbursement, approximately 4 hours)
Monitor play areas to ensure a safe, respectful, and consensual environment for all attendees. This role requires prior Dungeon Monitor experience, completion of DM training, and being on your feet for extended periods. Shifts are Friday and Saturday.Truck Load-In ($100 reimbursement, approximately 4 hours)
Help load equipment and supplies at multiple Bay Area locations before the Bonobo Festival, carrying, bending, and moving both heavy and light objects. This role requires significant physical effort, close-toed shoes, stamina, and the ability to transport yourself between loading locations. Shifts are Wednesday and Thursday.Truck Load-Out ($150 reimbursement, approximately 4 hours)
Unload equipment and supplies at multiple Bay Area locations after the Bonobo Festival, carrying, bending, and moving both heavy and light objects. This role requires significant physical effort, close-toed shoes, stamina, and the ability to transport yourself between drop-off locations. Shifts are Monday or Tuesday.
